INCEPTION
The machines that they use to share dreams in the movie are nothing less than amazing. The ability to share dreams is awesome. The movie focuses on a group of people who are trying to make a man change his mind. By entering his dreams and planting an idea in, they were able to change his mind. The technology allowing them to do so proves to be exquisite. They have access to peoples secrets and minds. In a world like that, trust will not exist and privacy will be violated. It doesn't take much; just a machine and a few people.
Now how great would that be? To leave reality and to live in a world that if completely your's. You live by your own rules and you play by your game. A world that is tailored to fit you snuggly, one that is based on you, one that you create and navigate. The idea intrigues many but won't fall through for awhile... No such thing exists right now. It currently is not possible nor will it seem possible in coming years. As of right now, it's way beyond technology. People dream about things and wish that they can stay in their dreams because the world in their dreams if their ideal world.
I don't think that it's fair for other people to go into another person's dreams. It's just not right. Some people may have good intentions, like the people in the movie, but some people's intentions are not as good. I guess it all depends on who is in charge and who has the ability to do so; which in this case, is no one.

EURKEA!
As present day technology advances, so does our views on the future. We base the future on the present. The purpose of this show is probably to show the future through the eyes of modern day. In the show, it seems as if the people are only starting to adapt to the advancing technology; it also seems as if they do not acknowledge certain things about their world, their lives. They do not know what to expect and everything is all so new to them. The point can also show that even though they live in the future, every second, every minute, hour, and day is as unpredictable as present day. They do not exactly know what will be thrown at them. Everyone lives in a place where they depend on technology. Even now in the present, we are relying more and more on technology to make our lives easier. Technology now is part of our everyday routine. And maybe one day, it will nestle into our lives so much that we will not notice it.
I must say, the hologram at the beginning of the show reminds me of Happy Potter, where the pictures move and captures a live moment. I think that they are ideas to have in the future, though I am not sure if they will ever exist. As for the show, it seems to be shown as a show with much suspense but there is also a bit of humor through it. Perhaps the comical scenes allows the show to be more enjoyable.

Future's Foundation
Every night, the lights will illuminate the sky. No longer will the stars be visible; instead, the world will be. The future, predicted, will be littered with technology, where ever we go. It will be part of life, it will be life. With all the lights on, nothing is unclear. Everything will be shown. Is it nothing like we have seen before, it will not be, it should not be. Everyone knows that technology will prosper in years to come. The image shows our future (as least one aspect of it). It is bright, foreshadowing our bright future. No longer will anyone live in the dark. The tall buildings most likely will be the source of our technologies; the future's pith. Roads go on and on with out and breaks symbolizing never ending growth, development, and prosperity.
The purpose of this image is most likely to show the future through the technologies that we have now. Everyday, technology is advancing. Everyday, technology is changing the way we live, making life easier. Our everyday advancing technology is the foundation to the future. We hold the key to the future. The future is based on what we do now in the present. Every action, every decision plays a part in the future. The reason why the future exist is because of us.
I personally would not mind if the future is like the image above. Though I must say, I will miss certain aspects of life that we have now. The fact that we have the ability to not fully rely on technology makes us human. If we rely everything on technology and forget about the hardships and the events that help build the future, we will forget about our past; the things that make us who we are and the future. If technology was to fail on us, we would not have anything left nor will we then know what to do. In other words, I think that too much technology can brainwash us of what we already. it is important for us to rememberwho we are and how we came to be
